My new steed (should arrive this week).  Fantastic deal from bikesdirect.com.  It comes well reviewed and with a very good group (Shimano's new ultegra group, the 6700) and a compact drivetrain.  And the frame is Titanium.  Ought to be a huge upgrade over my '01 Trek 1000 (an entry level aluminum frame bike that I've slowly upgraded with off-brand parts over the years and which currently sports 105 brifters that only half work.) Yep, the Venerable Trek1000 just got downchecked from flight status and is now serving training duty in the garage.
